Accounting Intern

is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team.
This internship opportunity is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain practical experience in the field of accounting.
The Accounting Intern will have the opportunity to work closely with our accounting team and assist with various financial tasks and projects.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities Assist with basic accounting tasks such as data entry, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
Help with auditing and financial analysis.
Collaborate with team members on special projects as needed.
Learn and use accounting software and tools effectively.
Perform administrative duties related to accounting functions.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or recent graduate) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software is a plus.
Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work well in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Physical Requirements Job requires ability to sit for long periods of time to perform duties.
Also required is the ability to walk around and make inquiries from other staff, management, etc.
Must be able to bend or stoop down to access file cabinets including lifting of items or objects up to 10 pounds.
