All applicants must be willing to submit an application and complete a credit check (~$40 fee), acquire renter's insurance (~$12 a month) and put down a $5,000 deposit, or book through AirBnB for a higher rate but without the extra hurdles.
Our lovely, bright and welcoming two-bedroom (plus), one-bath beach cottage is a close walk to Santa Maria Beach (Santa Mo’s) and Sunny Cove Beach.
It has four comfortable beds (two queens and a bunk bed) and is spacious enough for up to six people (four adults and two kids), and is especially set up for couples and small families.
The Beach Cottage Near Sunny Cove and Santa Mo's is in a fantastic and central location.
The beautiful tide pools at Corcoran beach are steps away and a very short walk (less than two blocks) will take you to Sunny Cove or Santa Maria (or "Mo's", as locals know it), both great family beaches! Mo's is a great beach to take a quiet and invigorating long walk.
There is a Starbucks around the corner and there are a number of tasty restaurants within walking distance; and don't miss out on the fun local brewerys nearby! On Sundays there is a charming little Farmer's Market, also a short walk away.
The Boardwalk, the Wharf, Capitola Village and historic downtown Santa Cruz are all just a quick 10 minute drive (or less then 20 minute bike ride).
The Yacht Harbor and Twin Lakes Beach (with the Crow's Nest, Cafe el Palomar and Java Junction) are a three minute drive or a nice 15 minute walk away.
The area is extremely bike and walking friendly, so why not enjoy the area without dealing with the stresses of traffic!!!
We allow one small dog (under 50 lbs) as long as guest takes full responsibility for any and all damages.
Additionally the owner is responsible for cleaning up all waste on property.
Pets are considered on a case by case basis.
If a pet is allowed, owner agrees to take full responsibility for any and all damages, including costs for cleaning or replacing furniture and bedding.
Owner will be responsible for an additional $300 cleaning fee and is required to keep all animal waste cleaned up and disposed of into the trash bin.
Additionally, owner must have the bungalow professionally cleaned, at their own expense ($150 per cleaning) every three weeks during their stay, if staying over one month.
Our home is located on a quiet residential street with mostly full-time residents that are our regular neighbors (two neighbors live full-time in a unit in the backyard).
With this in mind, there are strictly enforced quiet hours for any outdoor spaces (or when you have open windows).
Please be conscientious and keep your volume low from 8pm to 8am weeknights and 10pm to 8am weekends.
