Daycare Assistant

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Assistant to join our team.
As a Daycare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children.

Responsibilities: - Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the daycare facility - Engage children in age-appropriate activities and educational play - Provide assistance with mealtime, including preparing snacks and meals - Assist with diaper changes and potty training - Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment - Monitor children's behavior and implement behavior management techniques when necessary - Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the well-being of all children - Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise Experience: - Previous experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children is preferred - Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices - Familiarity with behavior management techniques for young children - Experience working with students or educating children is a plus - First Aid and CPR certification is desirable Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in early childhood education is a plus - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
