SUMMARY
To keep all dishes, glassware, utensils, washing equipment, and work area clean, safe, and sanitary, and to support kitchen staff by performing basic preparation and cleaning tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that clean and sanitary dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and other utensils are available for use as promptly as possible with little or no breakage.
Help maintain high levels of cleanliness while completing washing assignments.
Perform tasks as assigned on daily check list before shift is complete.
Check with supervisor before assisting coworkers, your duties must be completed first.
Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen above the level expected by the Health Department.
Ensure all services to members are provided in a highly professional and efficient manner with strong attention to detail.
Support safe work habits and contributes to a safe working environment at all times.
Consistently maintain the ability to come to work regularly and on time.
Follow directions, get along with co-workers and supervisors, treat co-workers, supervisors and members and their guests with respect and courtesy, contributes to a positive and rewarding team environment and refrains from abusive, insubordinate and/or violent behavior.

Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must be able to work independently.
Must meet legal age requirements for the position.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Private club, resort and/or hospitality experience preferred.
High school diploma or equal to a GED.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be able to clearly communicate with guests, management and coworkers.
CERTIFICATES & LICENSES:
Must have Food Handlers certification.
Must provide valid document(s) to work in the US.
Valid California Driver License is required (for specific positions).
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment at the Resort ranges from winter time lows of 30 degrees to summer time highs to 80+ degrees.
While performing these duties the employee may be exposed to outdoor and inclement weather conditions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to:
Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
Lift 25-50 lbs.
