Hey, I'm Emory.
I'm an experienced songwriter, producer, vocalist, and guitarist.
I'm here to help polish your sound into a professional recording, while retaining your song's intimacy and soul.
I work out of my secluded home studio in the Santa Cruz mountains, so if you're looking to get out of the city and record in a place that's tranquil, you won't find a place that's more conducive to creativity.
I'm also a listener.
I want to hear about your vision for your song.
I can help you bring it to life by writing and recording both electric and acoustic guitar, adding piano, adding percussion or bass, writing lyrics, singing backing vocals, creating textural mood, or mixing.
As a musician myself, I know how difficult it is to find the right person to work with.
I will work exceptionally hard to help you achieve the sound you're hearing in your head.
Your experience level is not a factor, no project is too small.
And if I'm not the right person for your project, I'll be honest about that.
Bringing out the emotion of a song is important to me.
Striking a balance between an emotionally powerful and moving track, and one that's commercially viable is what I strive for.
My rates are $350 for production and $300 for mixing.
I typically prefer to mix the work that I produce, so it usually comes out to $650 per song.
No hidden fees, and studio time is free of charge.
My home studio is outfitted with professional gear, including a UAD Apollo Twin Duo Interface, Vox AC15 amp, 90’s Fender Telecaster, 1970 Harmony Sovereign acoustic, vintage ES335 style semi-hollow guitar, upright piano, and a Gefell UMT 70S condenser mic.
Indie rock, indie folk, americana, and alt-country are my wheelhouse.
Attached below is Spotify playlist of a couple examples of my work.
