Here it is – hardly used, virtually brand new 1977 Sencenbaugh 14-1000 wind generator- one of the most robust wind generators to come out of the seventies, with some still running! These heavy duty wind machines passed the big wind tests at the Rocky Flats Test Center in 1977.
Three six foot sitka spruce props, 1200 watts peak @12 volts, 290 peak RPM before offset tail vane governor activates, 3 to 1 helical gear transmission, with 3 phase a/c alternator.
This is for OFF-GRID use, charging a 12 volt battery bank with an inverter to AC use.
These units are recommended to be used in conjunction with Rohn 25G guy wired towers or Rohn three legged self supporting towers, or older Wincharger towers.
