As a store manager with Epicenter, your responsibilities would include:
* Leading from the front by consistently being one of the top sales performers within the store, and inspiring the store team to achieve established goals.
* Ensures all customers are greeted within 10 seconds, and directs store staff and resources to provide world class customer service.
* Actively participating in all aspects of human resources including recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, mentoring, as well as holding staff accountable.
Ensures the store is staffed adequately, including filling gaps themselves if necessary.
* Ensuring staff are subject matter experts (SMEs) through continuous learning, role-playing, and sales training.
* Partnering appropriately within the organization to create and execute the annual budget and stocking plans.
* Reviewing financial performance monthly, quarterly, and annually.
Develops plans to improve underperforming areas, and to recognize successes.
* Meeting with department leaders and staff to review individual performance monthly.
* Taking quick, and decisive action to address underperformers.
* Ensuring the store is clean, well presented, and merchandised strategically to hit key performance indicators.
* Monitoring store supplies and inventory.
and ensuring inventory levels are appropriate.
* Direct Responsible Individual (DRI) for store meetings, daily huddles, overseeing the completion of the _Daily Task List_, and store cleanliness.
Store manager positions require retail management experience; cycling industry experience, however, is not required (although of course it would help).
