Surf City Original is looking for Budtenders to join our team!
We are looking for enthusiastic and professional cannabis connoisseurs that take pride in providing our customers with both a positive and memorable experience! This role is a heavily tipped position, the better the customer service the more you make!
*Required Duties:*
*● *Follow all operating procedures meticulously to prevent/minimize any loss.
● Build relationships with our customers by identifying needs and preferences with respect to cannabis products, and make helpful recommendations.
● Continuously train and develop product knowledge to share features and benefits with customers.
● Ensure customers are greeted in a timely manner and are updated about any specials, reward programs, etc.
● Accurately complete all Point of Sale transactions, including properly applying promotions or discounts.
● Make productive use of time by restocking/understocking products, cleaning, and organizing.
● Consistently attend all scheduled shifts on time and ready to work with a positive attitude.
*Education/Experience:*
● High school diploma or equivalent.
● Previous budtending experience - 1 year preferred.
● Experience in a retail, customer service and/or hospitality
*Abilities:*
● A solution driven “can-do” attitude with the desire to solve problems.
● Detail Oriented
● Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all staff members, customers and management.
*Physical Requirements:*
● Ability to stand and walk for long periods
● Ability to lift packages/boxes up to 30 pounds
● Ability to crouch, stoop, reach, etc.
to get products for customers from shelves of varying heights and locations

Requirements:*
● Must be 21 years of age
● Guard Card required - if you do not have one we will help you obtain one
● Background check required
● Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts.
