Produce Maven position at The Food Bin (santa cruz)

The Food Bin is a local, family-owned, small, natural retail grocery store on the Westside.
We are seeking a person to help run the produce department (all organic!).
You needn’t have a lot of produce experience but you do need to be able to learn how to order, merchandise and sample out product.
It's like running a floral shop because there is beauty in the presentation and you need to keep it fresh.
To that end, we are looking for someone who is: - good with numbers, - has retail experience, - is organized and pays attention to detail, - enjoys working with the public and co-workers, and - is able to take direction in order to learn the process.
