Farmer's Market Vendor - weekends

*Job Description:* Fruitilicious Farm is looking for help at one or two farmers' markets on weekends from now through January.
Sundays from 6:30 to 3:00 is required, with Saturday 6:30 to 2:30 optional but desired.
It is also optional to work on Fridays or other days to get ready for markets.
We are a small, certified organic farm in the foothills of Watsonville.
We grow and sell diverse fruit crops: apple, quince, figs, lemons, tangerines, pears, and a small amount of vegetable crops.
There is opportunity for advancement into a year-round position on the farm.
Starting pay is $16.
00 per hour.
Employee also receives plenty of fruit and vegetables.
Unfortunately we cannot provide lodging, and *candidates must demonstrate that they are already living locally and have stable transortation to our foothill location that is 8 miles from town.
* *Responsibilities:* · Selling at farmers’ market weekly through January.
· Keeping records of sales.
· Loading and unloading truck.
· Harvesting as needed and preparing product for sale *Qualifications:* • English required.
• Reliable transportaion to reach our farm.
Drivers license is recommended but not required.
• Will consider meeting at Los Gatos or Morgan Hill markets.
• Healthy physical condition and ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Sales/cashier experience useful but not required.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary Pay: $16.
