Come join the makers who support the dreamers! The Team You’ll Work With … We are looking for an enthusiastic problem solver to assist in implementing a best in class IT infrastructure for Fireclay Tile.
This position nestles under the Technology Department and works closely with Senior IT all major company departments, from Sales to Production, overseeing IT operations onsite in Aromas and supporting remote employees IT ticketing needs.
As our dedicated Jr IT Specialist in Aromas, you will assist in procuring and maintaining all hardware and devices in Aromas and for some remote employees, assist with People department IT ticketing needs (including onboarding & offboarding), and assist with all general IT needs to support our in our Aromas office and local showrooms.

The opportunities you will have … Setup new equipment according to company standards, including mac/pc, tablets, phones, tv's, printers, AP’s, ect.
, for both local and remote employees.
Maintain asset logs all equipment Troubleshoot/Repair company equipment, Networking, and software related issues Utilize construction equipment to facilitate installations including: Scissor lift, drills, cable cutters, cable crimpers Train employees as needed for hardware and software related functions Perform routine software updates, machine maintenance and cleaning.
Frequent written updates to our task management system (including status, next steps, and risks) to keep all stakeholders properly informed and keep task moving forward in a timely efficient fashion.

Days and hours of work are approximately Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.
m.
to 5 p.
m in our Aromas Location.
This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend and early morning/evening work.
Travel: This position requires some travel outside the local area, like to our showroom locations.
A significant amount of time will be spent in our Aromas, CA facility and possibly in other major markets as the team grows.
Physical and Environment Demands: This job operates in a professional office environment and onsite in a manufacturing environment.
Home base will be at our factory in Aromas, but travel to other locations is regularly required.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers, as well as software and hardware technology.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly need to talk or hear.
Parts of the role are sedentary, and many other parts involve driving, walking, and helping move and lift items (sometimes weighing up to 10, 25 and 50+ pounds) as needed.
The employee may frequently walk; reach with hands and arms, shoulders and legs and talk or hear.
