Good timing! We are looking for a Quality Coordinator for a temporary contract for our Watsonville, California facility! Reporting to the Production Director, you will manage, coordinate and participate in the activities associated with the current Berger systems.
OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:
• Supervise laboratory testing of product according to quality standards and procedures;
• Responsible to develop, update, apply and maintain the quality standards, procedures and best practices;
• Perform trials and calibrations of the equipment;
• Ensure employees are adequately trained and document all initial/refresher trainings;
• Enforce adherence to company quality and safety standards.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Degree in agriculture or related field is preferred, however a combination of experience and education is acceptable;
• Previous experience in manufacturing environment (an asset);
• Willing to learn and teach others;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and web tools;
• You have a good team spirit;
• You are fluent in Spanish (an asset).
